2024/25 AdmiralBet ABA League Round 4, Wednesday, 9 October 2024:

CIBONA – KRKA

Where? Dražen Petrović Arena, Zagreb

When? 20:00

Story of the game: In the opening game of the AdmiralBet ABA League Round 4, Cibona will be hosting Krka at home in their Dražen Petrović Arena in Zagreb.

It’s a game of two teams that will be entering the game with one goal – grab a win and improve their position in the standings. While Cibona have a chance to move up towards the middle of the standings with a win, as they would be on a 2:2 record after 4 rounds played so far, Krka would score their maiden win for the season, which would possibly help them to move away from the bottom of the standings after 4 rounds.

Cibona have previously been defeated by Zadar and Partizan Mozzart Bet, while they have prevailed over SC Derby. On the other side, Krka have suffered losses against Mega MIS and Borac Mozzart in the opening two rounds and they have been so close to the win in the Round 3, but let a pair of points slip through their hands in the last period.

Who will be the lucky team this time around and will grab a precious win? Tune in on Wednesday night and find out!

Match-up in focus: Two excellent American guards will have their showdown this time around in Dražen Petrović Arena, as Anthony Barber meets Tayler Persons. Both of them are currently the top scorers and passers of their respective squads, with Barber currently averaging 18 points and 4.7 assists per game for Cibona, while Persons has been averaging 15.7 points and 5.3 assists per game for Krka so far this season. Who will lead his team to the win this time?

Head-to-head score in the regional league: In total 24:9; In Zagreb 13:3.
