Maiden NLB ABA League 2 win for Ilirija
Ilirija are celebrating their first ever NLB ABA League 2 win, as they have put on a dominant display in Baldekin to outgun Šibenka.

Ilirija have put on a dominant display in Baldekin to outgun Šibenka. This way, the NLB ABA League 2 newcomers of Ljubljana have achieved their first ever NLB ABA League 2 win and the one that they will be remembering for a long time.
And in what way did they achieve it. After Šibenka have been in front throughout the majority of the opening quarter, the visiting side went on a 7:0 run over the last two minutes of the first period, to turn things completely upside-down after 10 minutes of play (22:25). However, they did not stop there and kept cruising in the remainder of the first half, only to depart on a big break with an advantage of 18 points (33:51). In the second half, they have even increased their margin and celebrated the win in the end with the final score of 61:95
This way, Ilirija have tied themselves in the second place in Group D with Zlatibor Mozzart, as both squads now have a 1:1 record. On the other side, Šibenka keep waiting for their first win of the season and they are now on a 0:2 record, occupying the last place in the group standings.
