EL: Painful defeats for Crvena zvezda Meridianbet and Partizan Mozzart Bet

The Belgrade giants both suffered narrow defeats in Round 6 of the 2024/25 Turkish Airlines EuroLeague regular season.

Crvena zvezda Meridianbet lost the away game against Zalgiris Kaunas after Bryant Dunston hit the game-winning two-pointer right at the 4th quarter buzzer – 86:84. Before that, the red-and-whites managed to return from a double-digit deficit, while Codi Miller-McIntyre hit the 3-pointer to tie the score, with just over a second remaining on the game clock.

Crvena zvezda Meridianbet have therefore dropped to 3-3 overall score in the ongoing EuroLeague season.

Meanwhile, Partizan Mozzart Bet lost the thrilling home game against AS Monaco – 74:79. The black-and-whites entered the final minute of the game with a 1-point lead – 73:72, but then AS Monaco responded by making the key 4:0 to take over the lead – 73:76.

In the remaining time, Iffe Lundberg made the first out of his two free throws to reduce the gap to two points - 74:76, but after missing the 2nd free throw attempt, Partizan Mozzart bet failed to grab the offensive rebound as the ball bounced off the hands of Isaac Bonga to AS Monaco players.

The visitors then scored three more free throws in the rest of the match to seal their win – 74:79.

Partizan Mozzart Bet now have the overall score of 2-4 in the 2024/25 Turkish Airlines EuroLeague regular season.
