Game recap: Budućnost VOLI have seized a huge away win this Sunday evening as they defeated league leaders Partizan Mozzart Bet in this week’s NLB Match of the Round.
The Podgorica squad have therefore become the first team to beat the Belgrade side in the 2024/25 AdmiralBet ABA League season.
Budućnost VOLI played an excellent game tonight in the Belgrade Arena. The blue-and-whites have had the lead during most of the game, while at the end they resisted every attempt of Partizan Mozzart Bet of making a comeback.
Budućnost VOLI have therefore once again made the race for the top spot in the regular season super exciting. Partizan Mozzart Bet are still holding the 1st place with the overall score of 11-1, but Budućnost VOLI and Crvena zvezda Meridianbet are now just a step behind with the overall score of 10-2. Dubai Basketball are following from the 4th spot as the league newcomers have the overall score of 9-3.
