EL: Crvena zvezda Meridianbet lose against Maccabi Tel Aviv

Crvena zvezda Meridianbet suffered defeat against Maccabi Tel Aviv in Aleksandar Nikolić Sports hall in Round 23 of the 2024/25 Turkish Airlines EuroLeague regular season.

After a close first quarter in which Maccabi Tel Aviv gained a 1-point lead – 21:20, the Israeli team domainted the 2nd quarter in which they managed to extend the gap to 12 points – 44:32.

Crvena zvezda Meridianbet did their best to make the 2nd half comeback, but today was not their day. Although they did manage to reduce their deficit to a single digit several times in the 2nd half, the red-and-whites were simply not good enough this evening to make the full comeback.

Maccabi Tel Aviv escaped to a 15-point lead in the 4th quarter and at that point it was clear that the Israeli team would seize the win this evening in Belgrade.

Crvena zvezda Meridianbet now have the overall score of 13-10 in the 2024/25 Turkish Airlines EuroLeague regular season.
