In a commanding performance, U19 Mega Superbet secured their place in the finals of the #ABAFutureStars tournament with a decisive victory over U19 Cibona in the semi-finals.
The match began with a closely contested first quarter. However, U19 Mega Superbet surged ahead with a 16-4 run, closing the quarter with a 32-19 advantage. This momentum continued into the second quarter as U19 Mega Superbet maintained pressure on their opponents, extending their lead to 20 points by halftime.
After the intermission, U19 Cibona fought to regain momentum, outscoring U19 Mega Superbet 32-25 in the third quarter and narrowing the gap to 11 points late in the period. Nevertheless, U19 Mega Superbet responded decisively, pulling ahead once more in the final quarter to secure their position in the finals.
Ognjen Srzentić delivered an impressive performance for U19 Mega Superbet, leading the team with 19 points, 7 rebounds, 2 steals, and 3 blocks. Meanwhile, Luka Petranović shone for U19 Cibona, contributing a game-high 23 points, along with 3 rebounds and 4 steals.
