Conclusions of the ABA League j.t.d. Assembly session
The ABA League j.t.d. Assembly session, that took place on 17 April 2025, as a continuation of the Assembly Session, that was held on 2 April 2025, has brought a great number of key decisions and conclusions, that guarantee further growth and development on all levels.

In an extremely constructive atmosphere, with an unanimous decision of the Assembly, it has been voted to include SC Derby in the ownership structure of the ABA League j.t.d. In accordance with this, the ownership structure of the ABA League j.t.d. will be composed of 12 members (Budućnost VOLI, Cedevita Olimpija, Cibona, Crvena zvezda Meridianbet, FMP Soccerbet, Igokea m:tel, Krka, Mega Superbet, Mornar-Barsko zlato, Partizan Mozzart Bet, SC Derby and Zadar).
The ABA League j.t.d. Assembly has adopted a decision that from 2025/26 season, the 1st ABA League can be composed of maximum 20 clubs. At the same time, the ABA League j.t.d. Assembly has determined that from 2025/26 season, the maximum number of teams from one country shall be limited to 50% of the total number of participating teams in the single season.
In the end, the ABA League j.t.d. Assembly has decided to compose a working group, that will, in the shortest possible term, define the criteria in accordance with which the wild cards would be awarded, along with development of possible models of the competition system. All with a goal of further strengthening and financial profit of the Society.
