2024/25 AdmiralBet ABA League Round 29, Saturday, 26 April 2025:

IGOKEA M:TEL – DUBAI BASKETBALL

Where? Laktaši Sports Hall, Laktaši

When? 18:00

Story of the game: On Saturday night, Igokea m:tel will be hosting Cedevita Olimpija at home in their Laktaši Sports Hall in Laktaši. It’s an important win for both sides, as Igokea m:tel, that are currently levelled with Cedevita Olimpija in the standings with an 18:10 record, need to win in order to keep things this way. In case they finish the regular season with the same number of wins as the Ljubljana squad, they will finish ahead of them, in the fifth place, thanks to the better head-to-head score. On the other hand, Dubai Basketball, having clinched the 3rd place in the standings, are looking upwards, where they will try their best to knock Partizan Mozzart Bet from the second place in the standings if opportunity arises.

Right now, Dubai seem to be unbeatable, as they are in the middle of the 11 games long winning streak and we shall see whether Igokea m:tel can change that and hand them their first defeat since 19 January, when they suffered a defeat by Cedevita Olimpija at home in Coca-Cola Arena. On the other hand, Igokea m:tel have won 2 games in a row lately and also won 3 of their last 5 games played in the regional competition.

The first and only time the two teams met so far in the AdmiralBet ABA League history was in late December, when Dubai have prevailed over Igosi 92:81 in their home arena. Can Igokea fight back? Tune in on Saturday night and find out!

Match-up in focus: It’s Bryce Jones against Klemen Prepelič! Two terrific guards will battle head-to-head in Laktaši and quite possibly the winner of this showdown would be the one to take his team to the precious win! Currently, Bryce Jones is the alpha and omega of Igokea m:tel, leading them in both scoring and passing with an average of 18.1 points and 6.1 assists made per game. On the other side, Klemen Prepelič has been the leading figure in the squad of Dubai Basketball so far this season, averaging 10.6 points and 5 assists per game as the team’s top passer and fourth-leading scorer.

Head-to-head score in the regional league: In total 0:1; In Laktaši 0:0.
