2024/25 AdmiralBet ABA League Finals Round 2, Saturday, 7 June 2025:

BUDUĆNOST VOLI – PARTIZAN MOZZART BET

Where? Morača Sports Hall, Podgorica

When? 21:00

Story of the game: The 2025 AdmiralBet ABA League Finals return to Morača Sports Center on Saturday night as Budućnost VOLI look to bounce back and tie the series, while Partizan Mozzart Bet aim to build on their dramatic Game 1 win and take a commanding 2-0 lead in the Finals.

After an incredible rollercoaster in the series opener, the pressure now firmly shifts to Budućnost VOLI squad, who must respond to avoid going down 0-2 before the series heads to Belgrade.

On the other side, Partizan Mozzart Bet enter Game 2 riding high after what will be remembered as one of the greatest comebacks in ABA Playoffs history. Trailing by 8 points with under 40 seconds left in regulation, the black-and-whites unleashed a flurry of clutch plays—most notably from Sterling Brown, who buried back-to-back threes and finished the night with 30 points to force overtime and eventually seal the win.

The big question heading into Game 2 revolves around the health of McKinley Wright IV, the regular season MVP, who returned for Game 1 but looked far from 100%. Budućnost VOLI will also anxiously monitor the status of Juwan Morgan, who injured his ankle in the semifinals and may miss this crucial clash. The home side will once again rely on the energy of their loud supporters in Morača, but they’ll need much more on the floor—particularly from their supporting cast—to level the series.

Meanwhile, Partizan are looking to capitalize on their early lead and get one more step closer toward the ultimate prize. With the entire roster available and full of confidence after their Game 1 escape, Željko Obradović’s team knows that a second road win could prove decisive in the best-of-5 series.

Match-up in focus: Rasheed Sulaimon vs. Sterling Brown.

With McKinley Wright IV clearly still recovering from injury, the scoring load for Budućnost VOLI may fall more heavily on the shoulders of Rasheed Sulaimon. The experienced guard showed glimpses of his potential in Game 1, notching 15 points and providing steady offense in key moments.

On the other end, Partizan Mozzart Bet guard Sterling Brown was simply unstoppable in Game 1. With 30 points, clutch 3-pointers, and an unshakeable presence, he led the black-and-whites toward a huge road win at the start of the series.

Head-to-head score in the regional league: In total 17:31; In Podgorica 12:11.
