Crvena zvezda Meridianbet Lands Experienced Scorer Tyson Carter from Unicaja

Crvena zvezda Meridianbet has officially strengthened its backcourt with the addition of American guard Tyson Carter. The 27-year-old arrives from Spanish side Unicaja Málaga after winning back-to-back FIBA Champions League titles. 

Carter brings with him a strong résumé from his time in Europe. Over the past few seasons with Unicaja, he appeared in 182 games and played an integral role in the team’s recent success, helping them secure six trophies during his tenure. Most notably, he was named MVP of the 2025 FIBA Basketball Champions League Final Four, where his performance was pivotal in Unicaja’s title-winning campaign.

Standing at 1.93 meters, Carter is known for his shooting ability and offensive skill set. In the previous season, he averaged 11 points and 3 assists per game, showcasing both scoring consistency and playmaking reliability.

Before joining Unicaja, Carter had stints with Lavrio (Greece) and Zenit St. Petersburg (Russia), steadily building his reputation as a dependable contributor on the European stage.
