Zadar has confirmed the contract extensions of Lovro Mazalin and Karlo Žganec.
Mazalin, who returned to Zadar in 2023 after a previous stint with the club in 2016/17, has agreed to stay on. Originally emerging from Cedevita’s system, the 26-year-old swingman played a supporting role in Zadar's Croatian League and Cup wins over the past two seasons. Last year, he averaged 10.0 points and 4.4 rebounds per game in the ABA League.
Meanwhile, Žganec has also extended his stay with the Dalmatian side. A 206 cm power forward, Žganec first joined Zadar in 2022 and has since been part of a team that secured three straight Croatian League titles.
Žganec began his professional career with KK Zagreb before moving on to Cedevita. Subsequent stops in Romania (U-BT Cluj-Napoca) and Split preceded his arrival in Zadar.
