Spartak Office Shoes has been active in the transfer market ahead of the upcoming season, securing several key additions while retaining vital pieces of its current squad. The Subotica-based club officially announced the arrivals of Shevon Thompson, Nikola Rebić, and Uroš Banjac, alongside contract extensions for Stefan Momirov and Danilo Nikolić.
Jamaican center Shevon Thompson (1993, 213 cm) joins Spartak from French side SLUC Nancy, where he competed in the Betclic Élite. Known for his size and rebounding ability, Thompson has built a solid career in Europe, having previously played in Spain, Germany, Belgium, Turkey, and France. Prior to his European journey, he developed in the NCAA system and had a stint in the NBA G League.
Veteran point guard Nikola Rebić (1995, 188 cm) brings a wealth of domestic and international experience to Spartak. A product of Crvena zvezda’s youth system, Rebić has played for several notable clubs including Mega Leks, Mornar, Bilbao, Monaco, Enisey, Mitteldeutscher BC, and Avtodor. His resume spans top-tier competitions across Europe, including leagues in France, Spain, Germany, Russia, Lithuania, and Turkey. Rebić is anticipated to add leadership and stability to the backcourt.
Young Serbian guard Uroš Banjac (2001, 196 cm) arrives from KK Vojvodina after an outstanding 2024/25 campaign. Averaging over 10 points per game in the ABA 2 League, Banjac has steadily developed since his early days at KK Futog and NS Stars. He gained recognition during his stint at KK Sloboda, where he was named MVP of the Serbian junior league. His move to Spartak represents the next step in a promising career trajectory.
Spartak has also moved to secure continuity by extending contracts with two important squad members.
Stefan Momirov (1999, 198 cm), who joined the team last season, has signed a new deal keeping him in Subotica through 2026. The versatile guard-forward impressed with his defensive prowess and was named the Best Defender of the 2024/25 Serbian Super League season.
Forward Danilo Nikolić (1993, 206 cm) has also extended his contract until 2026. The Montenegrin big man has been a reliable presence in the frontcourt and remains a central figure in Spartak's rotation.
