PRESEASON: From dominance to defeat: Mega Superbet suffer repeat loss vs. University of Indiana

Mega Superbet suffered their second preseason defeat to the University of Indiana, falling 81:80 in a dramatic finish.

Just like in their previous encounter, Mega started the game in dominant fashion, racing to a 21:5 lead in the opening minutes. The Pink troops maintained full control throughout the first half, heading into the break with a commanding 50:30 advantage.

However, history repeated itself in the second half, as the University of Indiana mounted another huge comeback. The American team chipped away at the deficit throughout the third and fourth quarters, eventually snatching the lead in the closing moments.

Mega’s top scorer today, Savo Drezgić, had the opportunity to win it at the buzzer, but his last-second three-point attempt did not go through the basket, therefore sealing a one-point victory for the University of Indiana in a thrilling preseason clash.
