Igokea m:tel start preparing for the new season

“Our ambitions are greater than in the previous seasons. In the ABA League, the competition system has been changed and our group is tough. The teams have raised their budgets and it will be a challenge for us to play in the regional competition. We believe, however, that we can reach the Playoffs. Due to this, we have extended our roster, since tough competitions are ahead of us,” Igor Dodik, the General Manager of Igokea m:tel told.

Nenad Stefanović, the Igokea m:tel Head Coach, stressed that there is tough work ahead of his team if they wish to meet the season in the proper shape.

“After an extremely good season I see that our players have arrived rested and ready to work. We had an excellent season, both in the team and individual aspect and we wish not only to repeat that, but to be even better. We have kept the backbone of the team and players that have gone, have made a step forward in their careers. I am satisfied with the work done in the transfer period, as we have brought in players with great characters. I never promise to win, but we will do everything we can in every game to give our maximum and we will see where this takes us. Ahead of us is quality work, but during the preseason period we will play also seven test games,” Stefanović told.

Igokea m:tel have strengthened their ranks so far this season by adding Breein Tyree, Javon Bess, Đorđe Đukanović, Nighael Ceaser, JeQuan Lewis and Nikola Popović.

Igokea m:tel krenula sa radom pre početka nove sezone

Ekipa Igokee m:tel krenula je sa priprema za novu sezonu u kojoj će ponovo jurišati na trofeje u više takmičenja.

„Ambicije su nam veće nego ranijih sezona. U ABA ligi je promijenjen sistem takmičenja i dobili smo veoma jaku grupu. Timovi su značajno povećali svoje budžete i biće veoma izazovno igrati regionalno takmičenje ali vjerujemo da se možemo plasirati u završnu fazu. Zbog toga smo proširili igrački kadar jer nas očekuju veoma zahtjevna takmičenja.“ rekao je Igor Dodik, generalni menadžer Igokee m:tel.

Nenad Stefanović, trener Igokee m:tel ističe da je pred ekipom naporan rad kako bi se takmičarski izazovi dočekali u pravoj formi.

„Poslije izuzetno dobre sezone vidim da su igraši došli odmorni i raspoloženi za rad. Imali smo odličnu sezonu kako na timskom tako i individualnom planu i želimo da je ponovimo i da pokušamo da budemo još bolji. Zadržali smo okosnicu tima, a igrači koji su otišli su napravili iskorak u karijerama. Zadovoljan sam odrađenim u prelaznom roku, doveli smo igrače s dobrim ljudskim kvalitetima. Nikad ne obećavam pobjede , već da ćemo na svakom meču da pružimo maksimum i vidjećemo gdje će nas to odvesti. Pred nama je kvalitetan rad, a tokom pripremnog perioda odigraćemo i sedam kontrolnih utakmica.“ rekao je Stefanović.

U ekipu Igokee za sada su pristigli Bris Tajri, Dževon Bes, Đorđe Đukanović, Najdžel Ciser, Džekvan Luis i Nikola Popović.
