Vienna Strengthens Roster Ahead of Their First AdmiralBet ABA League Season

Vienna prepares for its first-ever AdmiralBet ABA League season with 7 new signings.

Vienna has announced the addition of seven new players to its roster in preparation for the upcoming AdmiralBet ABA League season. These signings aim to bolster the team's depth and versatility as they enter the regional competition.

Among the new recruits is Slovenian guard Gregor Glas, born on April 29, 2001, in Novo Mesto, Slovenia. Standing at 1.97 meters, Glas has previously played for Cedevita Olimpija in Slovenia and has represented Slovenia in various youth national teams. His experience in European leagues adds valuable depth to Vienna's backcourt.

Croatian forward Lovre Runjić, born on September 9, 2000, in Split, Croatia, stands at 2.00 meters. He has played for KK Split and KK Mornar-Barsko Zlato in Montenegro. Runjić has also represented Croatia in youth national teams, including the U18 and U20 European Championships.

Darko Bajo, a Croatian center born on March 14, 1999, in Nova Bila, Croatia, stands at 2.06 meters. He has played for Cedevita and KK Split in Croatia, as well as Budapesti Honved SE in Hungary. Bajo has experience in various European leagues, contributing to his well-rounded skill set.

American guard Tekele Cotton, born on May 27, 1993, in Smyrna, Georgia, stands at 1.88 meters. A graduate of Wichita State University, Cotton has played in several European leagues, including stints in Estonia, Germany, Italy, Lithuania, Romania, Russia, and Kosovo. He most recently played for KB Trepça Mitrovice in the Kosovo Superliga.

Sammy Hunter, a Bahamian forward born on November 28, 2000, stands at 2.06 meters. He played college basketball at the University of Akron and has represented the Bahamas in various international competitions, including the Central American and Caribbean Games. Hunter most recently played for KB Trepça Mitrovice in the Kosovo Superliga.

American guard Souley Boum, born on January 26, 1999, in Oakland, California, stands at 1.96 meters. He played college basketball for the San Francisco Dons, UTEP Miners, and Xavier Musketeers. Boum most recently played for Limoges CSP in France's LNB Pro A league.

Lithuanian forward Simas Jarumbauskas, born on July 1, 2000, stands at 1.98 meters. He has played for Jonava in Lithuania's top league and most recently participated in The Basketball Tournament with Locked In Elite. Jarumbauskas brings valuable experience to Vienna's forward positions.
