Serbia opened its EuroBasket 2025 campaign in style with a 98-64 win over Estonia in Riga. Svetislav Pešić’s side took control early, leading 32-12 after the first quarter and never looking back. Nikola Jović impressed with 18 points and 6 assists in limited minutes, while Nikola Jokić added 11 points, 10 rebounds, and 7 assists as Serbia finished with 32 team assists.

Montenegro, meanwhile, fell 106-76 to Germany in Tampere. After a balanced first half, the defending world champions pulled away in the third quarter. Nikola Vučević led Montenegro with 23 points, 10 rebounds, and 5 assists, but it wasn’t enough to match Germany’s second-half surge.

Serbia will look to build on its strong start as it takes on Portugal next, while Montenegro turns to their next game, aiming to respond quickly against Lithuania.
