Bosnia and Herzegovina strengthened their push for the Round of 16 at EuroBasket 2025 with a narrow 80-77 victory against Greece in Limassol. The result brings their record in Group C to 2-2 heading into the final game of the group phase.

After falling behind by double digits early, Bosnia and Herzegovina responded with a decisive run in the second quarter to take control. They built their advantage to as many as 14 points in the final period and held off Greece’s late push to secure an important win.

Jusuf Nurkić was central to the performance, recording 18 points, 10 rebounds, and contributing on both ends of the floor. John Roberson also added 18 points, hitting four shots from long range, while Edin Atić finished with 15 points and 8 rebounds.

The team’s energy on defense proved vital, forcing turnovers and finding rhythm from beyond the arc with 11 three-pointers.

With this result, Bosnia and Herzegovina approach their last group matchup against Georgia with confidence and everything still to play for in the race to the knockout stage.

Slovenia secured their place in the EuroBasket 2025 Round of 16 after defeating Iceland 87-79 in Katowice. The win brings Slovenia back on track following two early losses in the group stage.

Aleksander Sekulić’s team built a 14-point lead late in the third quarter, but Iceland closed the gap to just five points in the final minutes before Slovenia sealed the game with a key three-pointer from Gregor Hrovat in the closing moments.

Luka Dončić led the way with 26 points, 7 rebounds, and 4 assists, providing crucial plays down the stretch despite struggling from long range. Slovenia also capitalized on Iceland’s 18 turnovers, turning them into 22 points to maintain control of the contest.

With this victory, Slovenia move into the knockout phase and will look to continue their campaign in Riga.
