After finishing the previous AdmiralBet ABA League season in 10th place with a 10–20 record, Borac Mozzart enter the new campaign determined to climb higher. The Čačak side were safely away from relegation trouble last year, yet far from Playoff contention. This summer, they worked to make a step forward with several interesting moves on the market.

Continuity on the Bench

The club decided to keep faith in head coach Saša Ocokoljić, who guided Borac to respectable results last season. Ocokoljić’s leadership and familiarity with the squad should provide the necessary stability as the team integrates new faces.

Backcourt Reinforcements

One of the key summer moves was bringing back Aleksa Uskoković from Dubai Basketball. The Serbian guard previously impressed in Čačak during the 2023/24 campaign, and his return has been welcomed with optimism. Alongside him, Borac Mozzart extended the contract of Diante Baldwin, one of the team’s leaders last season. Together, Uskoković and Baldwin are expected to form a dynamic and versatile point guard duo.

Team captain Uroš Čarapić, young gun Đorđe Ćurčić, and Nikola Manojlović will take responsibility at the shooting guard position, providing both experience and youthful energy.

Depth on the Wings

On the forward positions, Borac Mozzart will rely on proven fighter Marko Jošilo, rising star Pavle Nikolić, and strong rebounder Stefan Fundić. This mix of skill sets should give Ocokoljić plenty of tactical options, whether the team needs scoring, hustle, or size on the perimeter.

A New Look in the Paint

Perhaps the biggest changes came at the center position. Borac signed Žiga Dimec, an experienced Slovenian big man, and Bradley Ezewiro, a young American center looking to make his mark in Europe. Their arrival should bring much-needed presence under the basket, especially in defense and rebounding.

Youth Development

True to tradition, Borac Mozzart will also count on several players from their youth system who are ready to take their first senior minutes. The club has always prided itself on developing homegrown talent, and this season should be no exception.

Outlook

Borac Mozzart enter the 2025/26 AdmiralBet ABA League season with a balanced roster, combining experience, returning leaders, and fresh blood in the paint. With coach Ocokoljić at the helm and fans in Čačak always creating a fiery atmosphere, the team’s ambition is clear: move closer to the Playoffs and confirm their status as one of the league’s toughest home-court challenges.
