Dubai Basketball enter their second AdmiralBet ABA League season with the highest ambitions.

Dubai Basketball enter their second AdmiralBet ABA League season with the highest ambitions. The club has decided to keep head coach Jurica Golemac, who last year guided the team all the way to the semi-finals, where they fell in Game 3 against eventual champions Partizan Mozzart Bet. With the foundation set, Golemac now has an even stronger roster to chase the top.

Point Guards: Star Power and Depth

At the playmaker position, Dubai Basketball kept two names – Nate Mason, who had a solid season, and fan-favorite Thirdy Ravena. But the big news came with the summer signings. Former Partizan Mozzart Bet star Aleksa Avramović joined from CSKA Moscow, bringing energy and intensity, while McKinley Wright IV, the 2024/25 AdmiralBet ABA League MVP, arrived from Budućnost VOLI to form one of the strongest PG rotations in the league.

Shooting Guards: Lethal from Distance

The backcourt firepower continues at the shooting guard spot. The team kept reliable sharpshooters Klemen Prepelič and Danilo Anđušić, while also adding massive quality with Džanan Musa, a two-time EuroLeague champion from Real Madrid. On top of that, young guard Kosta Kondić, formerly of Mega Superbet, joined to provide energy and versatility.

Small Forwards: Experience Meets Scoring Ability

On the wings, Dubai Basketball retained experienced forwards Awudu Abass and Nemanja Dangubić, who bring defensive stability and leadership. The newcomers, however, promise a major scoring punch – Justin Anderson arrived from Barcelona, while Dwayne Bacon, a proven offensive weapon from Zenit, has already displayed his class in preseason games.

Power Forwards: Stretching the Floor

The power forward position looks equally strong. Davis Bertans, the elite Latvian shooter, remains with the squad, while the club also landed Filip Petrušev, who had a fantastic year with Crvena zvezda Meridianbet. Together, they create a dangerous mix of size, skill, and shooting range.

Centers: A Complete Overhaul

Dubai Basketball rebuilt the paint presence with three new signings. Kenan Kamenjaš joined from Budućnost VOLI, Mam Jaiteh arrived from AS Monaco, and Mfiondu Kabengele came from Venezia. This trio brings a combination of strength, athleticism, and versatility to dominate under the rim.

Ambitions at the Highest Level

With such a powerful roster, it is clear that Dubai Basketball are aiming for the very top in the 2025/26 AdmiralBet ABA League season. The mix of proven EuroLeague stars, regional MVPs, and rising talents gives the Dubai-based team the tools to compete with anyone – and perhaps go all the way to the title.
