Igokea m:tel has been one of the most exciting teams to watch in recent years, playing high-quality basketball under head coach Nenad Stefanović. Last season, the club secured 5th place in the AdmiralBet ABA League regular season and once again reached the Playoffs. Despite being eliminated by Crvena zvezda Meridianbet in the quarter-finals, Igokea m:tel showed strong performances in both games, proving they belong among the top clubs. With Stefanović continuing his project, the team enters the new season with stability and confidence.
Reshaping the Backcourt
The most significant roster changes happened at the guard positions. Igokea m:tel formed a new point guard duo by signing Jequan Demonte Lewis from Rostock Seawolves and Breein Tyree from Petkim Spor. In addition, versatile combo guard Javon Bess arrives from Turk Telekom to further strengthen the perimeter rotation. The club also promoted young Mićo Milovanović from the youth team, giving him the chance to showcase his talent at the AdmiralBet ABA League level.
Reliable Shooting on the Wings
At the shooting guard spots, Igokea m:tel kept their trusted core. Team captain Dragan Milosavljević remains the leader, supported by excellent shooters Marko Jeremić and Vasilije Pušica. This trio guarantees both experience and offensive firepower, giving the team much-needed stability in key moments.
Small Forward Depth
The small forward rotation will feature a mix of continuity and fresh energy. Vojin Ilić returns for another season, while newcomer Đorđe Đukanović, who joined from Proteas Voulas, is expected to provide versatility and hustle on both ends of the floor.
Strength in the Paint
Igokea m:tel also refreshed its frontcourt with several important signings. Nikola Popović, a 211 cm center from Falco KC Szombathely, brings size and presence in the paint, while Nighael Ceaser from Nymburk adds athleticism and rebounding power. Alongside them, last season’s power forwards Strahinja Gavrilović, Boriša Simanić, and Sandro Antunović remain with the team, ensuring depth and continuity in the front line.
Playoff Aspirations
With a well-balanced roster combining experience, newcomers, and young talent, Igokea m:tel is once again expected to be a strong contender for the Playoffs. The squad’s consistency under coach Stefanović and its ability to integrate fresh signings should make the team one of the toughest opponents in the league.
