Split are entering the new AdmiralBet ABA League season with a clear ambition – to achieve a better result than last year.

Split are entering the new AdmiralBet ABA League season with a clear ambition – to achieve a better result than last year. To do that, the club has undergone a significant roster overhaul while also making a change on the bench.
New Energy on the Sidelines
This summer, young coach Dino Repeša returned to the AdmiralBet ABA League as the new head coach of Split. His ambition and energy are expected to fuel the “Yellow troops” throughout the season and bring a new spark to the team’s ambitions.
Backcourt Reinforcements
The foundation of Split’s guard line remains strong, as the club kept one of their best players from last season Antonio Jordano, alongside Vito Kučić. On top of that, Paolo Marinelli returned to his childhood club this summer, while the domestic core was further strengthened with Noa Svoboda, who arrived from Alkar.
Split also invested in international experience by adding Teyvon Myers, the American scorer from MKS Dąbrowa Górnicza, and one of the club’s most high-profile signings of the summer – Slovenian star Zoran Dragić from Bilbao.
Wing Positions
At the small forward spot, Split will count on Ivan Perasović, who remains from the previous season, as well as Antonio Sikirić, who joined the team from Zadar.
Frontcourt Power
The club also reshaped its front line with three new arrivals: Matej Bošnjak from Wichita State, Grant Anticevich from Pallacanestro Varese, and Jacob Stephens from FMP Soccerbet. Together, they will be tasked with bringing strength, size, and versatility under the basket.
Youth Promotion
True to tradition, Split also promoted several young players from their youth system, ensuring continuity and development for the future while giving the squad extra depth.
Expectations
It remains to be seen how far this new roster can go, but one thing is certain – Split now have the potential to make life difficult for any opponent in the league. With a mix of domestic talent, experienced internationals, and a hungry new coach, the Yellow troops are ready to fight for a better season.
