Donatas Motiejunas strengthens Crvena zvezda Meridianbet

Crvena zvezda Meridianbet signed a contract with Lithuanian center Donatas Motiejunas!

The experienced center will arrive in Belgrade on Friday, and after medical examinations the contract with the player will be activated.

Donatas Motiejunas stands at 214 cm and weighs 117 kilograms, but throughout his career he has been known for his exceptional shooting ability for his size and for his mobility.

The new center of Crvena zvezda Meridianbet has had an outstanding career so far. He started in Žalgiris, continued in Benetton, and from 2011 spent a full eight seasons in the NBA, playing for Houston, New Orleans, and San Antonio.

Since 2021 he has been a member of AS Monaco, with whom he won two French league titles, one cup and reached the EuroLeague Final.

He brings the Belgrade team great experience, quality, and much-needed support at a time when the squad is heavily impacted by numerous injuries, especially among big men.

KK Crvena zvezda Meridianbet potpisao je u četvrtak ugovor sa Litvanskim centrom Donatasom Motejunasom!

Iskusni centar stiže u petak u Beograd, a nakon lekarskih pregleda ugovor sa igračem koji će doneti veliku pomoć našem timu u reketu biće aktiviran.

Donatas Motejunas je visok 214 cm i težak 117 kilograma, ali ga tokom karijere odlikuje izvanredan šut za tu visinu i mobilnost.

Novi centar Crvene zvezde Meridianbet do sada je imao izvanrednu karijeru koju je počeo u Žalgirisu, nastavio u Benetonu, a onda od 2011. godine punih 8 sezona nastupao je u NBA ligi za Hjuston, Nju Orlians, San Antonio.

Od 2021. godine član je Monaka sa kojim je osvojio dve titule prvaka Francuske, jedan kup i igrao finale Evrolige.
