It was the second consecutive year that Spartak triumphed in Podgorica and they did it again in spectacular fashion. After a fierce 40-minute battle in which they came back from a double-digit deficit, Spartak had a golden chance to seal the win right at the fourth-quarter buzzer. However, Shevon Thompson’s tip-in - which would have been the perfect ending to regulation for the visitors - came just a fraction of a second too late, sending the game into overtime tied at 83:83.

In the extra five minutes, Budućnost VOLI struggled to find their rhythm, especially from the free throw line, and Spartak Office Shoes took full advantage to celebrate a well-deserved road victory.
