Dubai Basketball suffered another EuroLeague setback as they lost in Sarajevo to Hapoel IBI Tel Aviv in Round 9 of the 2025/26 regular season. The visitors triumphed 109:97, capitalizing on a dominant third quarter that proved decisive.
After a close first half, both sides went into the locker rooms separated by only one point, but the momentum completely shifted after the break. Hapoel IBI Tel Aviv exploded offensively, winning the third period by 37:21 to take control of the game. From that point on, Dubai Basketball struggled to find defensive stability and could not recover despite their offensive efforts.
Once again, Dwayne Bacon delivered a brilliant individual performance for Dubai Basketball. The American forward poured in 36 points, showcasing his trademark scoring ability and keeping his team within reach for much of the game.
This defeat marks the fourth consecutive loss for Dubai Basketball in the EuroLeague, dropping their overall record to 3–6.
