EC: Perfect EuroCup Night for AdmiralBet ABA League Clubs

It was a perfect evening for AdmiralBet ABA League teams in the BKT EuroCup, as all three regional representatives - U-BT Cluj-Napoca, Cedevita Olimpija, and Budućnost VOLI - celebrated impressive victories in tonight’s action.

U-BT Cluj-Napoca delivered an offensive masterclass in their home clash against BAXI Manresa, winning convincingly by 110:86. U-BT Cluj-Napoca took full control early, building a 16-point halftime lead, and kept their foot on the gas pedal all the way through the final buzzer.

Their attacking firepower was on full display, with Trey Woodbury scoring 26 points and Daron Russell adding 23 points, leading Cluj to a statement victory in front of their fans. With this win, Cluj improved their EuroCup record to 4-2, firmly positioning themselves among the contenders in Group A.

In Ljubljana, Cedevita Olimpija produced a powerful performance, defeating Umana Reyer Venice by 93:65. The Dragons were unstoppable after halftime, winning the second half 51:28 in a show of dominance on both ends of the floor.

Head coach Zvezdan Mitrović’s team had six players in double digits, showing great team balance and depth. The top scorer was Umoja Gibson with 15 points.

Thanks to this win, Cedevita Olimpija now share second place in Group A with an overall record of 5-2, confirming their rise in form.

The evening was rounded off perfectly by Budućnost VOLI, who earned a major road win against NINERS Chemnitz - 84:71. Although the final score looks comfortable, the game was a true thriller until the final minutes. With the score at 73:71 and two minutes to go, Budućnost produced a decisive 11:0 run to silence the home crowd and secure the win.

Axel Bouteille was the key man for the Podgorica side, finishing with 26 points and 9 rebounds in a commanding all-around performance. Budućnost VOLI now share second place in Group B with a 5-2 record, keeping themselves firmly in the race for the next stage.
