The ABA League Referees Commission has evaluated the referees’ decision made in the final moments of Round 7 game between Cedevita Olimpija and Crvena zvezda Meridianbet, and reached the conclusion below.
Close to the end of the game, player no. 0 Miller-McIntyre of KK Crvena zvezda MeridianBet attempted a 3-point shot. The ball went through the basket when the game clock showed 0.7 seconds remaining. After reviewing the IRS, the referees determined that there was clear evidence that the made basket counts for 2 points and that there was 1.0 second left in the game. The referees correctly applied the IRS protocol and made the correct decision.
