2025/26 AdmiralBet ABA League Group A Round 8, Friday, 21 November 2025:
SPLIT – KRKA
Where? Split Sports Hall, Split
When? 18:30
Story of the game: In the opening game of the AdmiralBet ABA League Round 8, Split will be hosting Krka at home in their Split Sports Hall in Split. It’s a game of two teams, that are currently firmly anchored in the bottom half of the Group A standings, with both of them wishing to improve their position ahead of the forthcoming clashes. While Split are currently on a 2:4 record, including their recent win over Borac Mozzart in Round 7, Krka have not yet tasted the sweet taste of a win this season in the regional club competition in the region.
This time they face Split, which they are hoping that could be a suitable opponent for them to break the ice against, especially since they had 2 weeks of time to regenerate and prepare for the opponents, due to their bye week in Round 7.
On the other side, Split will for sure look for a way to capitalize on their recent good performance in order to move up to a 3:4 record and re-join the battle for Top 8 of the season.
However, only one team can do it. Which will it be?
Match-up in focus: The key match-up might be the one between Antonio Jordano and Victor Bailey Jr. While Jordano has been the second-leading scorer and third-leading passer of Split so far this season, averaging 11.2 points and 2.2 assists per game, Bailey Jr. is currently the top scorer of Krka, with an average of 19.7 points per game. Who will lead his team to the precious win this time in Gripe?
Head-to-head score in ABA: In total 8:10; In Split 5:4.
