Cedevita Olimpija are flying high in the 2025/26 BKT EuroCup, and their latest performance only reinforced that momentum. The Dragons recorded a strong home victory against Veolia Towers Hamburg in Round 8, continuing their impressive run of form and sending a loud message to the rest of Group A.

The Ljubljana side came out with energy, pace, and precision, producing an excellent offensive rhythm right from the start. They scored 48 points in the first half, dictating the tempo and stretching the gap to 13 points before heading into the locker room.

From that point on, Cedevita Olimpija never found themselves in trouble. Their defense remained disciplined, their offensive flow stayed smooth and Hamburg were never allowed to get close enough to threaten the outcome.

The team’s leading man on the night was Dewayne Stewart Jr, who delivered 17 points. Right behind him was Thomas Kennedy, who added 14 points and provided stability throughout the game.

With this victory, Cedevita Olimpija have now won three consecutive EuroCup matches. Their overall record improves to 6-2, placing them joint at the top of Group A and firmly establishing them as one of the main contenders for a deep run in the competition.
