Story of the game: On Saturday night, Krka will be hosting Borac Sports Hall in Marof Sports Hall in Novo mesto.

Due to summer floodings, Krka still have not played a single AdmiralBet ABA League game at home in Novo mesto and this will be their first this season. Not in their home Leon Štukelj Sports Hall, which is still undergoing repair works, but in Marof Sports Hall, a legendary hall, where the Novo mesto side won their first ever Slovenian National Championship trophy.

It is a game of two teams that are currently firmly anchored in the bottom half of the Group A standings, with Krka being on a 1:6 record right now and Borac Mozzart on a 2:5 record, just a step above the Novo mesto side.

However, both of the two squads have been victorious in the Round 8, with Krka beating Split on the road and Borac Mozzart grabbing home win over Igokea m:tel. 

Interestingly enough, Krka have only once prevailed over Borac Mozzart at home in Novo mesto so far in the history of the AdmiralBet ABA League in four encounters that have taken place there so far. Can this be the second?
