The latest round of the BKT EuroCup brought a blend of triumph and disappointment for the AdmiralBet ABA League representatives, as Budućnost VOLI delivered a dominant performance, while Cedevita Olimpija and U-BT Cluj-Napoca suffered setbacks in their respective road games.

Budućnost VOLI responded to the last-round defeat in the most authoritative fashion possible. The Podgorica team produced a statement performance at home, defeating London Lions 94:63 and reminding everyone why they are considered one of the top contenders in Group B.

The key to this impressive triumph was a phenomenal second half + arguably one of Budućnost’s best stretches of the entire season. They won the 3rd and 4th quarters by a combined score of 52:25, overwhelming the Lions on both ends of the floor.

With this win, Budućnost VOLI now share 3rd place in Group B with a 7-3 overall record.

Cedevita Olimpija entered today’s matchup riding an impressive EuroCup winning streak, but the run came to an end on the road against BAXI Manresa. The Ljubljana team trailed by 8 at halftime, yet the real damage came in the third quarter.

Manresa came out firing after the break and outscored Cedevita Olimpija 32:18 in the 3rd period, breaking the game wide open and creating a gap the visitors could not close.

Even with the loss, the Dragons remain in a strong position, now sharing 2nd place in Group A with a 7-3 record.

U-BT Cluj-Napoca played one of their better road games this season for three full quarters, but unfortunately could not maintain the rhythm until the final buzzer. The Romanian squad suffered an 84:72 defeat against Bahcesehir College, despite entering the last quarter up by 6 points.

The fourth quarter proved disastrous, as Cluj were outscored 28:10, losing control on offense while struggling to contain Bahcesehir’s surge. What looked like a potential road win turned into a painful loss, leaving Cluj frustrated after a promising first 30 minutes.

U-BT Cluj-Napoca now sit among the group of teams holding a 5–5 record, sharing 4th to 6th place in Group A.
