Partizan Mozzart Bet appoint Joan Penarroya as new head coach

Joan Penarroya is the new head coach of Partizan Mozzart Bet! The former Barcelona coach arrived in Belgrade last night, where he will officially take over the role of head coach of the black-and-whites today.

The Spanish coach, born on April 20, 1969, has previously led Barcelona, Baskonia, Valencia, Manresa, Burgos and Andorra.

With Burgos, Penarroya won the FIBA Basketball Champions League twice (2020 and 2021), as well as the FIBA Intercontinental Cup.

Alongside Penarroya, Uroš Dragićević has also joined the coaching staff as an assistant coach. Dragićević is the former director of the BC Fuenlabrada Academy and a former member of AS Monaco’s coaching staff.

Partizan’s next game is scheduled for Friday, December 26, when they will host Maccabi in Belgrade.

Đoan Penjaroja je novi trener KK Partizan Mozzart Bet

Nekadašnji trener Barselone, Baskonije i Valensije, stigao je sinoć u Beograd.

Đoan Penjaroja je novi trener Partizana Mozzart Bet. Doskorašnji trener Barselone, doputovao je sinoć u Beograd gde će već danas preuzeti funkciju šefa stručnog štaba crno-belih.

Španski trener, rođen 20. aprila 1969. godine, predvodio je do sada ekipe Barselone, Baskonije, Valensije, Manrese, Burgosa i Andore.

Sa ekipom Burgosa, Penjaroja je dva puta osvajao FIBA Ligu šampiona (2020. i 2021.) kao i FIBA Interkontinentalni kup.

Uz Penjaroju, u stručni štab je na poziciji asistenta stigao i doskorašnji direktor Akademije KK Fuenlabrada i nekadašnji član stručnog štaba u Monaku, Uroš Dragićević.

Prvu narednu utakmicu, Parni valjak igra u petak, 26..decembra, protiv Makabija u Beogradu.
