Ukrainian International Ivan Tkachenko is a new Player of Zadar
Ukrainian international Ivan Tkachenko is the newest member of Zadar. After a short trial period, during which he satisfied the club’s coaching staff, a contract was signed, and Tkachenko will wear the Zadar jersey for the remainder of the season.

Ivan Tkachenko began his professional career with the club Cherkasy Mavpy, with whom he won the Ukrainian championship in 2018. After that, he played for Helsinki Seagulls and then for the Ukrainian club Prometey, with whom he won two titles in the Latvian–Estonian League, which the club joined after the start of the Russian invasion of Ukraine. With Prometey, he also played in the EuroCup for two seasons.
He also played for the German club Mitteldeutscher BC, winning the German Cup. He is a regular member of the Ukrainian national team, with which he competed at EuroBasket 2022, and with the national university team he won a silver medal at the 2019 Summer Universiade in Naples.
With his arrival, the club has used its second “wild card,” or additional license, which means that the opportunity to sign another player for the SuperSport Premier League will be available in the third transfer window, from March 9 to 12, and that the squad set to continue the fight for the first trophy—the SuperSport Krešimir Ćosić Cup—has been defined. In the AdmiralBet ABA League, player registration is possible outside this period as well, except in the case of a horizontal transfer from one league club to another.

Ukrajinski reprezentativac Ivan Tkachenko je novi igrač Zadra
Ukrajinski košarkaški reprezentativac Ivan Tkachenko novi je član Zadra. Nakon kratkog probnog razdoblja, tijekom kojeg je zadovoljio stručni stožer kluba, uslijedio je potpis ugovora te će Tkachenko u nastavku sezone nositi dres zadarskog kluba.
Profesionalnu karijeru započeo je u klubu Čerkasy Mavpy s kojim je 2018. osvojio naslov prvaka Ukrajine. Nakon toga nastupao je za Helsinki Seagulls pa za ukrajinski Prometej, s kojim je osvojio dvije titule u Latvijsko-estonskoj ligi kojoj se klub priključio nakon početka ruske invazije na Ukrajinu. S Prometejom je dvije sezone igrao i Eurocup.
Nastupao je i za njemački Mitteldeutscher BC te osvojio Kup Njemačke. Standardni je reprezentativac Ukrajine, s kojom je nastupio na EuroBasketu 2022., a s nacionalnom sveučilišnom selekcijom osvojio je srebrnu medalju na Univerzijadi 2019. u Napulju.
Njegovim dolaskom iskorišten je drugi “žeton”, odnosno dodatna licenca, što znači da klub mogućnost dovođenja novog igrača za SuperSport Premijer ligu ima u trećem prijelaznom roku, od 9. do 12. ožujka i da je momčad s kojom će se nastaviti borba za prvi trofej – SuperSport Kup Krešimir Ćosić definirana. U AdmiralBet ABA ligi registracija igrača moguća je i izvan tog razdoblja, osim u slučaju horizontalnog prijelaza iz jednog u drugi klub lige.
