EC: Both Securing Win, U-BT Cluj-Napoca Will Takes on Budućnost VOLI in the Playoffs
With wins tonight in their BKT EuroCup action, Budućnost VOLI found out their opponent in the eighthfinals, they will take on AdmiralBet ABA League newcomers, U-BT Cluj-Napoca.

U-BT Cluj-Napoca advanced to the BKT EuroCup Round of 16 after a convincing 111-92 home win over Aris Thessaloniki in a decisive Group A clash for sixth place. The result secures a third straight Play-Off appearance for the Romanian side.
After a balanced start, Cluj took control before the end of the first quarter and built a double-digit lead. The hosts maintained offensive consistency and intensity on defense, entering halftime ahead 55-43.
In the second half, U-BT extended the margin beyond 20 points and managed the game with confidence down the stretch, surpassing the 100-point mark to seal the win.
An AdmiralBet ABA League derby awaits in the Round of 16 of the BKT EuroCup as U-BT Cluj-Napoca will face off against Budućnost VOLI who defeated JL Bourg tonight.
Budućnost VOLI responded in strong fashion in the EuroCup, defeating JL Bourg 96-84 in Podgorica to finish the regular season in third place with a 12-6 record. The victory ensures home-court advantage in the Round of 16 for the first time under the current competition format.
Just two days after a demanding regional clash, the Montenegrin side delivered an inspired performance in front of their fans. Budućnost dominated the opening half, building a 21-point lead by halftime (52-31) thanks to aggressive defense, control of the boards and efficient scoring in transition.
Although Bourg improved after the break and reduced the deficit to single digits in the final quarter, Budućnost stayed composed. A timely response in the closing minutes restored a double-digit margin and secured the result.
Yogi Ferrell led the way with 19 points and six assists, while Axel Bouteille added 18.
