2025/26 AdmiralBet ABA League Play-out Round 6, Friday, 27 March 2026:
SPLIT – ZADAR
Where? Split Sports Hall, Split
When? 20:00
Story of the game: On Friday night, Split will be hosting Zadar at home in their Split Sports Hall in Split.
This might well be one of the crucial games for both Dalmatian squads in their battle to accomplish their Play-out stage goals. While Split are currently sharing the bottom of the standings with SC Derby, with a record of 5:16, two wins behind the rest of the competition, they need to win in order to keep their dream of avoiding the danger zone after 10 rounds of the Play-in realistic. On the other side, Zadar are currently on an 8:12 record, one win behind second placed Mega Superbet, but also having played one game less than the Belgrade side, and they need a win in order to keep chasing a spot in the Play-in Zone, to try and qualify for the Playoffs.
Both teams are entering the game following recent wins. However, while Split only won 1 of their last 5 games, Zadar have won 4 of their last 5.
It’s worth noting that while recent form is on the side of Zadar, so is the tradition, as Zadar have prevailed 11 times in the mutual encounters against Split in Gripe in the AdmiralBet ABA League so far. Also, in the first mutual encounter this season in the AdmiralBet ABA League, Zadar have been a dominant side, winning 106:77 in Jazine.
Since then, much has changed, however. Split have a new head coach Miodrag Rajković and they have started playing much better recently. Can they get their revenge over Zadar for the Round 2 defeat?
Match-up in focus: Teyvon Myers vs. Vladimir Mihailović! That’s the match-up. While Myers has been the second leading scorer and passer of Split this season, averaging 12.3 points and 4 assists per game, Mihailović is currently the top scorer and third-leading passer of Zadar, with an average of 20.7 points and 3.1 assists per game. Who will lead his team to the win?
Head-to-head score in ABA: In total 6:21, In Split 2:11.
