2025/26 AdmiralBet ABA League Play-out Round 8, Friday, 10 April 2026:
VIENNA – SPLIT
Where? Hallmann Dome, Vienna
When? 20:30
Story of the game: In the opening game of the AdmiralBet ABA League Play-Out Round 8, Vienna will be hosting Split at home in their Hallmann Dome in Vienna.
It’s an important game for both sides, with Split in urgent need of a win in their struggle to avoid relegation from the AdmiralBet ABA League, as they are currently placed on the last place in the standings alone on a 5:18 record, one win behind SC Derby, with 2 rounds to go. Needless to say that they need two wins in the final two rounds to keep their chances alive. On the other side, Vienna are currently on a record of 8:15 and one win would be enough for them to escape the danger zone near the bottom of the standings for good.
Both teams are entering the game after recent defeats, with Vienna losing their last game and Split their last two. Also, Vienna seem to be in a better shape lately, as they have won 3 out of their last 5 games and Split 1.
The first time the two squads met, Vienna prevailed in Gripe with the score of 76:85. Can Split get the revenge on the road?
Match-up in focus: It’s Souley Boum vs. Teyvon Myers! While Boum has been both the top scorer and passer of Vienna so far this season, averaging 18.7 points and 4.1 assists per game, Myers is leading Split in passing, while coming second in scoring, with an average of 12.6 points and 4 assists per game. Who will lead his team to a valuable win?
Head-to-head score in ABA: In total 1:0, In Vienna 0:0.
