Dubai Basketball have wrapped up their first ever EuroLeague campaign, as they suffered an 85:95 home defeat against Valencia Basket in the final round of the regular season.

Dubai Basketball have finished their first ever EuroLeague campaign, as they suffered an 85:95 home defeat against Valencia Basket in the final round of the regular season.

The Dubai side finish just outside the Top 10, in 11th place, bringing an end to a debut season that featured strong performances, notable wins and valuable experience gained against Europe’s top-tier opposition.

Valencia Basket opened the game in control, setting the tone early and closing the first quarter ahead - 24:19. However, Dubai Basketball gradually found their rhythm in the second period.

With improved ball movement and defensive intensity, the hosts managed to shift the momentum late in Q2, overturning the deficit and entering halftime with a slim lead - 47:45.

Yet, the balance of the game changed immediately after the break.

Valencia Basket took over in the third quarter, outscoring Dubai Basketball 34:20 in the period, turning a halftime deficit into a comfortable advantage ahead of the final quarter.

Dubai Basketball showed character in the fourth quarter, trying to close the gap and re-enter the contest. Despite the effort, Valencia Basket stayed composed in the closing stages, keeping control of the scoreboard and securing the win.
