U-BT Cluj-Napoca captured their sixth consecutive Romanian National Championship after edging rivals CSM CSU Oradea 74-72 in Game 4 of the finals, completing a domestic treble in the 2025/26 season.
After trailing 36-33 at halftime, Cluj turned the game around with a strong third quarter and entered the final period with a 60-52 lead. Oradea mounted a late comeback, but the hosts held on in a dramatic finish.
Daron Russell led all scorers with 23 points and was named Finals MVP. With Cluj protecting a one-point advantage in the closing seconds, Emanuel Ceaser produced a decisive block on Oradea’s final possession to seal the title.
The victory extends U-BT Cluj-Napoca’s remarkable run at the top of Romanian basketball, as they celebrate a sixth consecutive championship.
