Story of the Game: The 2026 AdmiralBet ABA League Finals continue on Wednesday evening as Partizan Mozzart Bet host Dubai Basketball at Belgrade Arena in Game 3 of the best-of-five championship series.
After winning both opening games in Dubai, the visitors hold a 2-0 lead and now stand just one victory away from claiming their first-ever AdmiralBet ABA League title. On the other side, Partizan Mozzart Bet find themselves in a must-win situation. The defending champions need a victory to extend the series and keep their hopes of retaining the crown alive.
The black-and-whites faced a difficult challenge in the opening two games of the Finals, suffering defeats in Dubai despite remaining competitive throughout both encounters. Now, however, the series shifts to Belgrade, where Partizan Mozzart Bet will have the support of their passionate home crowd as they attempt to spark a comeback.
History offers encouragement for the Belgrade side. Since Dubai Basketball joined the AdmiralBet ABA League, the two teams have met four times in Belgrade and Partizan Mozzart Bet have emerged victorious on each occasion. Dubai Basketball have already protected their home court in this series, but they now face a challenge they have yet to overcome - winning against Partizan Mozzart Bet in Belgrade.
For Dubai Basketball, the opportunity is clear. Another victory would complete a remarkable season and secure the club's first AdmiralBet ABA League championship. The visitors have shown composure and consistency throughout the Finals so far, but they are aware that closing out a series on the road against the defending champions is often the most difficult step.
Match-up in Focus: Bruno Fernando vs. Mfiondu Kabengele.
One of the most intriguing battles in Game 3 will take place in the paint, where Bruno Fernando and Mfiondu Kabengele are expected to play major roles for their respective teams.
Fernando delivered a strong performance in Game 2 and was one of the key reasons why Partizan Mozzart Bet remained in contention throughout the contest. The Angolan center provided energy, physicality and scoring during several important stretches, helping the black-and-whites stay within striking distance.
On the opposite side stands Kabengele, who has been one of Dubai Basketball's most consistent performers throughout the Finals. The powerful center currently ranks as the team's second-best player by index rating in the championship series, averaging 18.5 index points per game. His presence around the basket, rebounding and ability to finish in traffic have been among Dubai Basketball's biggest strengths.
Head-to-Head in ABA: In total 4:5; In Belgrade 4:0.
