In Game 4 of the 2025/26 Finals, Dubai Basketball defeated Partizan Mozzart Bet on the road, 83:81, to win the series 3-1 and secure the first trophy in club history!
The newly-crowned champions spent most of the evening in front, but Partizan Mozzart Bet continuously stayed within reach, setting up a dramatic finish. Neither side managed to build a significant lead, as the score remained close throughout all 40 minutes. In the end, Dubai Basketball held their composure in the decisive moments to secure the victory and claim the first trophy in club history.
Key Moments: The defining sequence came in the final 15 seconds of the game. After the score had been tied at 81:81, Aleksa Avramović stepped to the free-throw line and calmly converted both attempts to put Dubai Basketball ahead 83:81. Partizan Mozzart Bet then had one final possession to force overtime or win the game, but Dubai Basketball's defense delivered when it mattered the most. Carlik Jones was forced into a difficult two-point attempt that missed the target, while Justin Anderson grabbed the crucial defensive rebound to seal the championship.
Man of the Match: Aleksa Avramović.
Aleksa Avramović once again showed why he was one of the key players for Dubai Basketball throughout the Finals. He finished the game as his team's top scorer with 15 points, while his two free throws with the score tied at 81:81 proved to be the decisive basket(s) of the championship-clinching victory. In a game decided by the finest margins, Avramović delivered under maximum pressure.
Can't Trick The Stats: Sometimes the biggest numbers are not found in the boxscore. The final 15 seconds told the entire story of Game 4. Dubai Basketball first secured a key offensive rebound to earn a crucial possession, Avramović then converted the two title-winning free throws, and the team completed the job with a championship-saving defensive stand on Partizan Mozzart Bet's final attack. Three winning plays in the closing moments decided the outcome of both the game and the Finals.
