U-BT Cluj-Napoca continue to shape their roster for the upcoming season, with the latest addition being Dušan Beslać, a 27-year-old forward who spent the previous three seasons with BC Avtodor Saratov in the VTB League.
From 2015 to 2023, Beslać competed in the Serbian top division, splitting his career between Smederevo 1953, Dynamic Belgrade and Vojvodina Novi Sad, while he also played in the ABA League 2 with Dynamic Belgrade and Vojvodina Novi Sad.
Beslać spent three seasons with the Novi Sad club, appearing in 97 games and averaging more than 13 points per game in each campaign. His final season with Vojvodina was particularly memorable, as he was named the MVP of the Serbian Championship. In 32 domestic league appearances, he averaged 21.6 points, 7.1 rebounds, and 1.3 assists per game.
Ahead of the 2023/24 season, Dušan moved to Russia to join BC Avtodor Saratov, where he spent three seasons and appeared in 95 games before deciding to continue his career in Cluj-Napoca. He enjoyed an excellent start to last season and was voted the team's Player of the Month for October by the Saratov fans. Unfortunately, a knee injury suffered on November 2 in a game against MBA Moscow sidelined him until March. He returned to action on March 7 against Uralmash and played five more games before the end of the season.
Beslać has also represented Serbia in the EuroBasket 2025 Qualifiers, appearing in six games and averaging 3.8 points, 2.3 rebounds, and an efficiency rating of 4 in approximately 15 minutes per contest.
Dušan Beslać became the fourth signing of U-BT Cluj-Napoca ahead of the 2026/27 season, following the arrivals of Bogdan “Bobe” Nicolescu, Otis Livingston II, and Jalyn McCreary.
