Matthew Hurt Stays in Ljubljana
Cedevita Olimpija and American forward-center Matthew Hurt have agreed to extend their partnership. Following his strong performances in the second half of the 2025/26 season, the 26-year-old basketball player will remain in the green-and-orange jersey at least through the end of the 2026/27 season.

Matthew Hurt joined Cedevita Olimpija at the beginning of January 2026 and quickly became an important part of the team. His performances played a significant role in the team's results during the second half of the season. Unfortunately, his campaign was cut short by a knee injury suffered in the first game of the national championship Finals against Krka. Hurt will continue to wear the Ljubljana club's jersey for at least the 2026/27 season.

The American left a strong mark in the 2025/26 season in the AdmiralBet ABA League, where he averaged 11.1 points and 3.9 rebounds per game across 15 appearances.

Cedevita Olimpija in ameriški krilni center Matthew Hurt sta se dogovorila za podaljšanje sodelovanja. Po uspešnih predstavah v drugem delu sezone 2025/26 bo 26-letni košarkar v zeleno-oranžnem dresu ostal vsaj do konca tekmovalne sezone 2026/27.
Matthew Hurt se je Cedeviti Olimpiji pridružil v začetku januarja 2026 in hitro postal pomemben člen moštva. S svojimi predstavami je pomembno prispeval k rezultatom ekipe v drugi polovici sezone, žal pa je njegovo sezono predčasno zaključila poškodba kolena, ki jo je utrpel na prvi tekmi finalne serije državnega prvenstva proti Krki. Hurt bo dres ljubljanskega kluba nosil vsaj še v sezoni 2026/27.

Američan je v sezoni 2025/26 izrazit pečat pustil v AdmiralBet Ligi ABA, kjer je na 15 tekmah v povprečju beležil 11,1 točke in 3,9 skoka na tekmo.
