Brandon Murray is Coming to Cedevita Olimpija
Brandon Murray will strengthen Cedevita Olimpija in the 2026/27 season. The American guard played his first professional season with GGD Šenčur, where his strong performances during the 2025/26 campaign attracted attention. In the 2026/27 season, he will join the Dragons' squad.

The 196-centimeter-tall guard Brandon Murray will join Cedevita Olimpija for the 2026/27 season. During the 2025/26 season, he played professionally for the first time. He represented GGD Šenčur in the Slovenian national championship, having previously spent four seasons competing in the American NCAA college basketball league. He concluded his collegiate career with the McNeese Cowboys. Murray has signed a two-year contract with the Ljubljana-based club.

During the 2025/26 season, Murray played 29 games in the Slovenian national championship for GGD Šenčur and was the team’s second-leading scorer with 14.0 points per game. He also averaged 3.0 rebounds and 2.8 assists per game. He additionally competed in the Spar Cup, where he averaged 9.8 points across eight games.
Before moving to Europe, Murray spent four seasons in the NCAA, playing for the Georgetown Hoyas and the McNeese Cowboys.

Cedevito Olimpijo bo v tekmovalni sezoni 2026/26 okrepil Brandon Murray. Ameriški branilec je svojo prvo profesionalno sezono odigral v dresu GGD Šenčurja, kjer je z dobrimi predstavami v sezoni 2025/26 opozoril nase, v sezoni 2026/27 pa se bo pridružil Zmajevemu moštvu.
Cedeviti Olimpiji se bo v novi sezoni 2026/27 pridružil 196 centimetrov visoki branilec Brandon Murray, ki je v sezoni 2025/26 prvič nastopal med profesionalci. V slovenskem državnem prvenstvu je nosil dres GGD Šenčurja, pred tem pa je štiri sezone igral v ameriški študentski Ligi NCAA. Univerzitetno kariero je sklenil pri ekipi McNeese Cowboys. Murray je z ljubljanskim klubom podpisal dveletno pogodbo.

V tekmovalni sezoni 2025/26 je Murray za GGD Šenčur odigral 29 tekem državnega prvenstva in bil z 14,0 točke na tekmo drugi najboljši strelec moštva. Ob tem je v povprečju prispeval še 3,0 skoke in 2,8 asistence na srečanje. Nastopal je tudi v Pokalu Spar, kjer je na osmih tekmah v povprečju dosegal 9,8 točke na tekmo.
Pred prihodom v Evropo je Murray štiri sezone preživel v Ligi NCAA za Georgetown Hoyas in McNeese Cowboys.
