Zadar Keep Their Captain as Ramljak Signs Two-Year Extension

The captain is staying at the helm. Marko Ramljak will continue to wear the KK Zadar jersey for the next two seasons.

The agreement comes after successful negotiations between the club and the player, who first joined Zadar in 2010 and spent the following six seasons with the team.

Ramljak then went on to play for Cedevita, Zrinjski and Cibona, as well as clubs in Bulgaria, Poland and Bosnia and Herzegovina, before returning to Zadar in the summer of 2022.

Over the past four seasons, he has been one of the team's key players, helping Zadar win three Croatian League titles (2023, 2024 and 2025) as well as the Krešimir Ćosić Cup in 2024.

With the appointment of Stipe Modrić as head coach and the agreement to extend Marko Ramljak's contract, KK Zadar have made two important moves ahead of the 2026/27 season.

Marko Ramljak ostaje u Zadru

Kapetan ostaje za kormilom, Marko Ramljak će i sljedeće dvije sezone nositi dres KK Zadar.

Rezultat je to dogovora kluba i igrača koji je prvi put zadarski dres odjenuo 2010. godine te ga nosio tijekom sljedećih šest sezona.

Nakon toga nastupao je za Cedevitu, Zrinjski i Cibonu, kao i za klubove u Bugarskoj, Poljskoj te Bosni i Hercegovini, prije nego što se u ljeto 2022. godine vratio u Zadar.

U posljednje četiri sezone bio je jedan od važnih igrača momčadi, s kojom je osvojio tri naslova prvaka Hrvatske (2023., 2024. i 2025.) te Kup Krešimira Ćosića 2024. godine.

Imenovanjem Stipe Modrića za glavnog trenera i dogovorom o nastavku suradnje s Markom Ramljakom, KK Zadar je napravio dva važna poteza uoči sezone 2026./2027.
