Dubai Basketball have secured the future of one of their key players, with Dwayne Bacon signing a contract extension that will keep him at the club until 2028. The American forward played a major role during the 2025/26 season, establishing himself as one of the team’s primary offensive weapons and a consistent performer throughout the campaign.
He was selected to the 2025/26 ABA League Ideal Starting Five after averaging 13.8 points and 3.8 rebounds per game and was one of the key figures in Dubai Basketball’s historic AdmiralBet ABA League championship-winning season.
In EuroLeague, Bacon averaged 15.8 points, 4.1 rebounds, 2.2 assists and a PIR of 12.9. He delivered several standout performances during the season, including a EuroLeague career-high 36 points against Hapoel Tel Aviv, the highest-scoring game by a Dubai Basketball player in the competition.
