Bosna BH Telecom have strengthened their roster ahead of the 2026/27 season by signing Bosnian center Alija Islamović.
Born in Sarajevo on May 10, 2001, the 24-year-old will continue his career with the Sarajevo-based club after spending the previous campaign between Jedinstvo Bijelo Polje and Mornar Bar.
Islamović began his senior career with Kakanj during the 2020/21 season before moving to Montenegro, where he spent three seasons with Lovćen. During his time with the Cetinje club, he established himself as one of the team's key contributors, averaging more than 12 points per game across his stint.
Last season, Islamović first suited up for Jedinstvo Bijelo Polje, where he posted averages of 9.2 points, 6.3 rebounds and 1.2 assists per game. He later joined Mornar Bar, recording 6.0 points and 5.7 rebounds per contest in the NLB ABA League 2.
His performances during the 2025/26 campaign also earned him a first call-up to the Bosnia and Herzegovina senior national team.

Novi član kluba će biti debitant u redovima seniorske reprezentacije Alija Islamović. Islamović je rođen u Sarajevu, 10. maja 2001. godine. Pokriva poziciju centra. Tokom sezone 2020/2021 nastupao je u dresu Kaknja, dok je poslije toga tri sezone nosio dres crnogorskog Lovćena gdje je bio nosilac igre sa prosjekom od preko 12 poena u prosjeku.
Proteklu sezonu je proveo u dresu Jedinstva iz Bijelog polja, te u Baru gdje je nastupao za Mornar. U dresu Jedinstva je imao prosjek od 9.2 poena i 6.3 skoka, te 1.2 asistencije. Nastupajući za Mornar u ABA 2 ligi je imao 6.0 poena i 5.7 skokova. Dobrim partijama u protekloj sezoni je zaslužio nastup u dresu popularnih Zmajeva.
