Vincent Trevon Mitchell is coming to Cibona
American player Vincent Trevon Mitchell, better known as Tre Mitchell, has joined Cibona. The 25-year-old, standing 206 cm tall, plays both power forward and center, and arrives in Zagreb after spending last season with French side JL Bourg-en-Bresse.

Vincent Trevon Mitchell began his college career at UMass, where he quickly established himself as one of the Atlantic 10 Conference's standout young players. In his freshman season, he was named the conference's Rookie of the Year and selected to the Atlantic 10 All-Second Team. A year later, he earned a place in the All-Atlantic 10 First Team.
After two seasons at UMass, he continued his college career at Texas and West Virginia before finishing at Kentucky. During the 2023/24 season, Mitchell appeared in 27 games for the Wildcats, starting 24 of them, while averaging 10.7 points and 7.2 rebounds per game. He led the team in rebounding and also recorded 71 assists and 26 blocks over the course of the season.
Mitchell began his professional career in the 2024/25 season with Basketball Löwen Braunschweig. In the German Bundesliga, he averaged 9.7 points and 4.6 rebounds per game, while elevating his production in the FIBA Europe Cup to 12.8 points, 6.6 rebounds, and 2.2 assists per contest, shooting 40 percent from three-point range.
Last season, he played for JL Bourg, helping the club win the EuroCup. In the French league, he averaged 9.4 points, 3.4 rebounds, and 1.5 assists per game while shooting 42.3 percent from beyond the arc.

U Cibonu dolazi američki igrač Vincent Trevon Mitchell, poznatiji kao Tre Mitchell. Dvadesetpetogodišnji košarkaš visok 206 centimetara pokriva pozicije krilnog centra i centra, a u Zagreb dolazi nakon sezone provedene u francuskom JL Bourg-en-Bresseu.
Mitchell je sveučilišnu karijeru započeo na UMassu, gdje se odmah nametnuo kao jedan od istaknutijih mladih igrača konferencije Atlantic 10. U debitantskoj sezoni proglašen je najboljim novakom konferencije te je izabran u drugu najbolju momčad Atlantic 10, dok je godinu poslije uvršten u prvu konferencijsku petorku.
Nakon dvije sezone na UMassu nastupao je za Texas i West Virginiju, a sveučilišni put zaključio je u dresu Kentuckyja. U sezoni 2023./24. za Wildcatse je odigrao 27 utakmica, od čega 24 u početnoj petorci, te prosječno bilježio 10,7 poena i 7,2 skoka. Bio je najbolji skakač momčadi, a sezoni je pridodao 71 asistenciju i 26 blokada.
