Crvena zvezda Meridianbet sign 2025 EuroLeague Best Defender Nick Weiler-Babb

One of the best defenders in Europe, Nick Weiler-Babb, is the newest addition to Crvena zvezda Meridianbet!

Crvena zvezda have won the race to sign one of the EuroLeague's top defenders, beating competition from a number of clubs that were interested in the former Anadolu Efes player.

The former Ludwigsburg, Bayern Munich and Anadolu Efes player was born in Topeka, Kansas, on 12 December 1995.

With the arrival of Weiler-Babb, Crvena zvezda have added an experienced player, an outstanding defender and a major reinforcement ahead of the 2026/27 season. Another valuable asset of the 196 cm tall combo guard is his versatility and ability to play multiple positions.

Weiler-Babb is also a regular member of the German national team, with whom he won the bronze medal at EuroBasket 2022.

The German international is Crvena zvezda Meridianbet's sixth signing of the current transfer window, following Jones, Motley, Baldwin, Kramer and Medarević, while Davidovac and Butler have extended their contracts with the club.

Bivši košarkaš Ludvigsburga, Bajerna i Efesa rođen je u Topeki u Kanzasu 12.12.1995.godine, a dodatni kvalitet ovog 196 centimetara visokog kombo beka je činjenica da može da igra više pozicija u timu.

Dolaskom Vejler Baba Crvena zvezda je dobila iskusnog igrača, fantastičnog defanzivca i veliko pojačanje u svakom smislu u sezoni 2026-2027!

Vejler Bab je standardni reprezentativac Nemačke, sa kojom je 2022. godine osvojio i bronzanu medalju na EP.

Nemački reprezentativac je šesto pojačanje KK Crvena zvezda Meridiabnet u ovom prelaznom roku nakon Džounsa, Motlija, Boldvina, Kremera i Medarevića, dok su ugovore produžili Davidovac i Batler.
