First professional contract with Krka for Timotej Balažić
Talented homegrown player Timotej Balažić will continue to wear the Krka jersey next season after signing his first professional contract with the club.

The 18-year-old guard, born in 2008, stands 197 centimetres tall and began his basketball journey in the youth ranks of Krka.
“Signing my first contract with KK Krka is a tremendous honour for me and a reward for all the hard work I have put in so far. I am grateful to the club for the trust they have shown in me. I am ready to work hard and prove myself at the senior level,” said Timotej Balažić after signing the contract.
He made his debut for Krka’s senior team in the 2024/25 season, while so far he has made his biggest impact in the club’s youth categories. Last season, he gained additional experience with the senior team of KK Troti while also playing for Krka’s first team. He has also demonstrated his ability and talent at the national team level. This year, he was a member of the Slovenian U18 national team that won the European Championship title in Italy.
We wish Timotej plenty of success, good health and many enjoyable moments in the green-and-white jersey. We are confident that he has a bright future ahead of him and that he will write many more successful stories together with the club.

Prva pogodba s Krko za Timoteja Balažića
V dresu Krke bo tudi v novi sezoni igral nadarjeni domači košarkar Timotej Balažić, ki je s klubom podpisal svojo prvo profesionalno pogodbo.
Osemnajstletni branilec, letnik 2008, je visok 197 centimetrov in je svojo košarkarsko pot začel prav v mlajših selekcijah Krke.
"Podpis prve pogodbe s KK Krka je zame izjemna čast in nagrada za vso dosedanje trdo delo. Hvaležen sem klubu za izkazano zaupanje. Pripravljen sem na garanje in dokazovanje na članski ravni," je po podpisu povedal Timotej Balažić.
V članski ekipi Krke je debitiral že v sezoni 2024/25, največji pečat pa je doslej pustil v mlajših klubskih selekcijah. V minuli sezoni se je dodatno kalil tudi v članski ekipi KK Troti, ob tem pa igral za člane Krke. Svoje znanje in talent je potrdil tudi v reprezentančnem dresu. Letos je bil član slovenske reprezentance do 18 let, ki je na evropskem prvenstvu v Italiji osvojila naslov evropskega prvaka.
Timoteju želimo veliko uspeha, zdravja in športnih užitkov v zeleno-belem dresu. Prepričani smo, da je pred njim lepa prihodnost in da bo skupaj s klubom spisal še veliko uspešnih zgodb.
