PRESEASON: Slovan Bratislava starts preseason games period with a triumph over USK
Slovan Bratislava has kicked off their series of pre-season friendly matches. For their opener, they headed to the neighbouring Czech Republic to challenge USK Prague.

The "Sky Blues" have just come off an intensive training period under their new head coach, Dejan Jakara. Initially, their performance showed that the new squad still needs some time to click and build proper chemistry.Consequently, after the first five minutes, Slovan trailed 7-20 against a more compact-looking Prague side.
Gradually, however, they started getting into the rhythm and finding effective solutions in their offensive plays.Although the Bratislava side lost the first half 39-42, their performance steadily improved.
In the final quarter, Slovan seized the initiative. Thanks to tight and disciplined defense, they turned the game around and ultimately secured a valuable 85-74 victory over the squad led by Teo Hojč, a Slovanian head coach well-known to Slovak fans.
Desure Buie led the way in scoring for Slovan, writing down 19 points for his squad, while Trevon Bluiett added 18.
