Dubai Basketball started preparations for the 2026/27 season

With preparations for the 2026/27 season now underway, Dubai Basketball held its first preseason practice on Tuesday in Dubai. A total of 15 players took part in the opening session, including three junior players and center Amida Brimah, who has joined the team for the first week of preseason.

The first-team players who started preseason are McKinley Wright, Elie Okobo, Kosta Kondić, Davion Mintz, Dwayne Bacon, Džanan Musa, Justin Anderson, Awudu Abass, Davis Bertans, Filip Petrušev and Mam Jaiteh. They were joined by Amida Brimah and junior players Amath Diop, Ian Lazarevski and Bacary Doucoure. Not all players took part in the on-court practice, as some of them completed individual work.

The team will practice in Dubai during the first days of preseason before travelling to Antalya, Turkey, on September 2. Dubai Basketball will play four preseason games there, on September 4, 6, 9 and 11.
